Ambati Rayidu announces retirement from all forms of cricket : World Cup 2019

Ambati Rayidu was ignored by the indian cricket team management. Indian Cricket team Selectors preffered Mayank Agarwal replacement of injured Vijay Shankar. Indian batsman Ambati Rayidu announced retirement from all forms of cricket such as IPL, Test and One Day Innings, According to BCCI.



Ambati Rayidu moves for retirement after ignoring from the world cup team. Ambati Rayidu was in the stand by list for the world cup Cricket team but, even after the injuries of Shikhar Dawan and Vijay Shankar, Ambati Rayidu failed to board the flight as the selectors and Indian cricket team management selected Rishab Pant and Mayank Agarwal as the replacement for the injured players.



Ambati Rayidu write a letter to the Hyderabad Cricket Association ( HCA ) later the Association forwarded the letter to BCCI. In the letter sportstar Ambati Rayidu wrote

” Respected Sir, i would like to bring to your kind notice that I have come to a decision to step away from the sports and retire from all forms and levels of the game “

In 55 One Day Innings Ambati rayidu scored 1694 Runs with three centuries and ten half Centuries at an average of 47.05 . In 6 T20’s he played the middle order batsman scored 42 runs. Ambati Rayidu never got a chance to represent india for test cricket. Ambati Rayidu debut with the One day Cricket match against Zimbabwe and his last match was against Australia in Ranchi this year.
